At long last, some attention is being drawn nationally to how difficult it is for women to get the care they need. Much of this difficulty is based on the fact that well-women care and providers are either inconvenient to get to, or are too expensive.

At DocTalker Family Medicine, we've committed ourselves to making it more convenient and affordable for women to get the care they need. We've developed our Well-Women Clinics, with Check-ups costing $149 (including the pap test). These consults can be scheduled during our twice monthly Well Women Clinics. The Well-Women Check-ups offer the following: 

• A 25-minute office visit with Valerie Tinley, FNP-BC.
• A health history and physical exam.
  
• A pap test (no additional fee).
  
• Convenient times that can be chosen during one of upcoming clinics (please call for times). Clinics generally have either early morning hours or late afternoon and early evening hours.
  
• Standard bloodwork is available for $49 additional (or a total of $199).
  

It is our goal, that -- through convenience and affordability -- women will start putting themselves first, and schedule the check-ups and care they need.
